What Engine and Drivetrain Does the 2022 Grand Wagoneer Use?
Under the hood of the 2022 Grand Wagoneer, you'll find a potent 6.4L V8 engine. This pushes out a hefty 471 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque. When the Grand Wagoneer is equipped with a tow package, it can haul up to 10,000lbs! There are three optional four-wheel-drive systems available to the 2022 Grand Wagoneer. Each system is a full-time 4x4 with a transfer case and a network of sensors that keep track of wheel spin to detect slippage. When the first available system, Quadra-Drive I, senses a loss of traction, all of the engine's available torque will be redistributed through a single-speed transfer case to the wheels with the most traction to keep the Grand Wagoneer on track. Quadra-Trac II functions in the same manner but makes use of a two-speed transfer case with Active 4-Low mode for unparalleled control in low-speed crawling situations. Lastly, Quadra-Drive II uses the same system as Quadra-Trac II but adds an Electronic Limited Slip Rear Differential.

It also includes a 12.3-inch frameless digital driver information display, a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen, Uconnect 5 with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Amazon Alexa in-vehicle virtual assistant, and a four-zone HVAC system controlled on a 10.25-inch touchscreen. The Grand Wagoneer seats are premium Nappa leather-trimmed that are heated, ventilated, massaging, and 24-way power-adjustable. The second-row seats come standard as bucket seats but the Grand Wagoneer can be ordered with a bench seat. Second-row passengers will enjoy their own 10.25-inch climate control touchscreen on a center console, and an available 10.1-inch touchscreen on each front seatback. Behind the second row, third-row passengers are treated to class-leading head and legroom.
