What Can You Tell Me About the Wagoneer's Capability?
They say it's what's on the inside that counts, so we'll start under the hood of the Wagoneer. The Wagoneer comes standard with a 5.7L V8 that rips out 392 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to a robust TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission. The Wagoneer is capable of hauling up to 10,000lbs when equipped with a tow package. As mentioned above, three four-wheel-drive systems are available for the 2022 Wagoneer. Quadra-Trac I is the first available drivetrain. This system provides full-time 4x4 capability without requiring the driver to flip a switch or pull a lever and employs a single-speed transfer case and a network of sensors to sense wheel spin. When slippage is detected the transfer case sends up to 100% of available torque to the axle with the most traction. Quadra-Trac II acts similarly but employs a two-speed transfer case and has Active 4-Low. The last available system is Quadra-Drive II comes with an Electronic Limited Slip Rear Differential. This system is capable of predicting wheel slippage and sending all of the available torque to the wheels with the most traction to limit or eliminate slippage. Selec-Terrain Traction Management System is also available and provides drivers with Auto, Sport, Snow, Rock, and Sand/Mud modes on a rotary dial to get optimal traction across a variety of road conditions. Lastly, Quadra-Lift air suspension is available to provide a normal ride height of 8 inches of ground clearance but can go as high as 10 inches and as low as 6.4 inches. Air suspension also provides a smoother ride on all road surfaces compared to normal coil springs.
What Are Some Safety Features?
Jeep spared no expense when designing the Wagoneer's safety and security systems. The Wagoneer's high-strength steel frame is capable of directing impact energy away from the cabin while all occupants are also kept safe by all-around airbag coverage. The safety doesn't stop there though. Over 120 advanced driver assists are also available. Standard driver assists include, but are not limited to, a backup camera, active lane management, adaptive cruise control, blindspot monitoring, rear cross-path detection, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, a surround-view camera, and a switch-activated electric parking brake. A night vision camera and head-up display are available on the top-line Series II trim. Available automated driving assists help drivers stay in perfect control by using automated acceleration and braking.

This is to nod at the steering wheel on the original Wagoneer, only this steering wheel comes with audio controls and more. The 2022 Wagoneer will make waves upon its release as one of the most technologically advanced SUVs on the market. Both Wagoneer trims come with a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen with Uconnect 5, Jeep's fastest and most advanced infotainment software yet. The high-speed system includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, simultaneous Bluetooth capability for up to two devices, Alexa "home to car" functionality, navigation with voice recognition, and can memorize up to five user profiles. These profiles can remember specific climate control settings, seat position, mirror angles, music preferences, and more.
